computer problems
Here are some handy hints if you are having problems with the computers in studio:
The computers in 10b01 and 10b12 are powerful machines, most of the time it will be the network speed that is slowing down you workflow.
- only watch videos related to your work, that means no “Home and Away” etc…
- don’t watch movies found on Student Shared
- save large files (over 100mb) to the local while working on them and copy to home drive when finished
Applications running slow?
- only have the apps running you really need
- only have a few files open per application
- if you don’t need it open, close it down
